1977Born in Wroclaw, Poland, amid political unrest but in a world of rich graphic arts, to an Architect father and an IT Network Systems Analyst mother
1981Moved to Paris, France
1983Moved to Calgary, Canada
1994Graduated from Bishop Carroll High School with honours in English and French
Enrolled in the University of Calgary General Studies program with intent to major in Marine Biology
Withdrew after two semesters, dissatisfied with institutional learning of empirical sciences
1995Began independent study of classical drawing techniques
Enrolled in extended classes to formalize
1996Enrolled in the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary, majoring in Drawing
1998Enrolled at the Cooper Union in New York City as part of the Mobility/Exchange program
Crucial formative learning experience in the petri dish of a throbbing metropolis
2000Earned Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with Distinction
Began travelling in earnest to further pursue independent and direct study of classical anatomical and architectural forms, settling in Rome, Italy
2002Left Rome on half-year self-contained bicycle tour of Mediterranean Europe
Direct, first-hand study of architectural forms and historical artistic expressions in the Western European tradition
Extended stay in Barcelona whilst participating in documentary film production
2003Moved to Osaka, Japan
